Research
Opportunities
The Renewable Energy Research Group at Department of Energy
Technology, Aalborg University can apply for tuition waiver for excellent Ph.D students.
We are striving to provide excellent
environment for research and encourage those who would like to carry out
high-quality research in the areas of power system, power electronics and
electrical machine. We are also very happy to host academic visitors and
research fellowships. Our group’s research focuses on efficient energy
production based on renewable energy sources and optimal use of energy
for various purposes. The group has strong cooperation with academic
research institutions and industrial companies worldwide.
New Ph.D. positions are available
for highly-motivated students with a strong research background and
capability. For each research field, we are looking for candidates with
the following qualifications:
· A Master degree in engineering,
mathematics, or related fields is preferred, though outstanding
undergraduate students will also be considered;
· Strong mathematical background and
proficient skills in modelling and simulation in a programming
environment, such as Matlab;
· Previous research experiences in related
fields and scientific publications in journals/conferences are preferred;
· Excellent communication skills and good
writing skills.
In addition, we hope the candidates
have strong interests and/or previous research experience in either one
